TRUST EARNED The Planned Giving Foundation (PGF), incorporated in 1991, is a nationwide, public, not-for-profit organization providing financial development services to charities, professionals and donors. We offer a range of services from technical support to outsourcing of total planned giving functions. We assist advocacy agencies and charities in understanding complex planned giving instruments, while providing donor-sensitive assistance to individuals, including their financial advisors as needed.
As an umbrella charity, PGF exists solely to promote and facilitate deferred charitable giving and to assist with the ultimate distribution of trust assets to the charities named by the grantors. This arrangement allows your clients to deduct as a charitable contribution the entire cost of setting up the trust.
VOLUNTEER BOARD
PGF was established as a national distributing charity. Guided by a volunteer board of directors, it exists to distribute charitable gifts to donor-selected tax-exempt organizations.
